Synopsis: Selenia had gotten used to her new mundane life living as a human named Rochelle – a nation wide famous Hot Chilli Pepper Rockstar living her life on the road with her ferret companion Rexie. Her life as Selenia wasn’t worse, but it was different.

The kind of different that she was okay with leaving behind.

When the annual festival that brings the Oté – her displaced fae-like people – goes awry, she suddenly finds herself back in her old magic rich world of Chemish a week before they were all forced to leave. What unfolds from there is the reality of why they needed to leave in the first place, the many secrets that were kept and – as it turns out – none of it leaves her happy.

The further into the truth she dives, the more she realizes just how much her world needs to die and she’s more than happy to say its time.
