Welcome to the first update of July and a post that marks us moving past the 6 month mark of running Rage Quit Ink. Even if it may not look like it from the update list on the site, we actually started getting the ball rolling back in December of 2025. It honestly feels bizarre to look back on. We weren’t even sure if we’d be able to keep this going into the new year and were struggling to understand exactly where this would even go if it could go anywhere. There’s still a lot that that we’re figuring out but it’s also very safe to say that if we knew this is where we’d be at this point in time, we wouldn’t have spent so much time filled with worry.
This update isn’t a big one but there are some pretty big things to share about what’s been happening.
- We’ve added a Hello Preview Pack to the $Bag that gives a preview for various things going on right now. The first one is up and you can grab it HERE.
- Over on Tinkering, we’ve got two new updates:
- We shared a preview for the next Ash and Flowers short story – Laid Upon by Forbidden Eyes – since we’re working to get it laid out for how it’ll be in the final book. You can check it out HERE.
- We also put up a little announcement that part of what we’ll be doing moving forward is making AMVs. You can read the announcement HERE and can check out a preview of the first AMV HERE.
- We’ve set up a road map for our next releases. You can check out it out HERE.
- We’ve also set up a Dorkatorium to showcase all of the visual development work that Dre’s done for our projects that you can browse through HERE.
The other thing is that we’ve decided that all posts on Habitué will be only available to subscribers. This will just make things easier for us in the long run so we don’t have to worry too much about juggling everything going on. Instead, the posts have been split into two groups: Casual – which are the more easy going/simple developmental posts and Hard Ball – the posts that are a bit more in-depth and intensive in terms of the kind of work being shared when it comes to getting everything done.
